WHAT WE DO
Community Health
We strengthen the health system by interfacing between stakeholders and bridging information gaps in grassroots health care delivery, especially children and maternal health
Education
AICD ensures that all children, especially the most disadvantaged, enjoy the right to sound foundational and functional education. We mobilize parents, guardians, communities, all stakeholders, and resources to make this happen.
Advocacy
AICD uses advocacy, public enlightenment and mobilization as tools to deliver change in community health and education
Community Health Flagship Projects
With your help, we will adopt and equip 15 PHCs in at least 10 communities where regular Routine Immunization, Antenatal, skilled birth attendance and postnatal services will be provided for rural women and children for 12 months.
Education Flagship Project
Play is a cherished part of childhood. By finding the right balance between work and play children will grow up happier, better adjusted, and more prepared to conquer the world.
WHY WE DO IT
Community Health
Women and children should not die of child delivery and preventable deaths
Education
A sound educational foundation is important to prepare a child for an effective adolescence leading to functional and productive adulthood.
Advocacy
We see advocacy as a catalyst for change which can be achieved through public awareness and media campaigns, research, engagement with public officials, etc.
